Your Higher Self Has Been Trying to Get Your Attention
Rebecca Rosen

We all love the idea of trusting our intuition until it tells us something we don’t want to hear. In this episode, I share what my own sacred graduation and conscious uncoupling journey have taught me about recognizing the whispers of spirit—and finding the courage to honor them. Together, we explore how I distinguish intuition from fear, what our bodies can tell us, and why signs shouldn’t replace our own inner knowing. I also share the questions that help me separate responsibility from over-responsibility. Sometimes guidance asks us to act. Sometimes it asks us to wait, speak, rest, or release. The practice is becoming quiet enough to listen and willing enough to take the next aligned step.

What We Explore:

  • Fear screams, intuition whispers. I share how fear tends to demand certainty and keep changing its argument, while intuition often repeats the same simple truth.

  • Listening to the body. We explore patterns of contraction, depletion, expansion, and relief, while recognizing that our human bodies also need rest, care, and appropriate medical attention.

  • Signs and discernment. I love angel numbers, dreams, songs, and synchronicities, but a sign isn’t a substitute for sovereignty. We still have choices to make.

  • Responsibility versus over-responsibility. How we can communicate clearly, set a boundary, and love someone without controlling their response or living their life for them.

  • Guidance without a guarantee. Learning to trust the next step without needing the entire map—and to remember that discomfort doesn’t automatically mean leave.

A Practice to Try:

Sit quietly, breathe, and put your feet on the ground. Ask yourself one question at a time, pausing to listen:

  1. What do I know to be true?

  2. What am I afraid of?

  3. What actually feels true underneath that?

  4. What’s mine to do next?

The answer may be rest, wait, speak, ask for help, say no, or say yes. Before you immediately question or intellectualize it, see whether you can simply sit with it.

This Week’s Reflection:

What has my higher self been quietly trying to tell me that I keep asking spirit to say louder?

What’s mine to do with what I already know?
