Heal Your Inner Child to Align with Your Highest 5D Self
If you've been feeling out of balance lately—emotionally, energetically, or spiritually—you're not alone. As we continue to ascend into higher frequencies, many of us are being asked to revisit old wounds we’ve long buried. At the heart of this process is something deeply tender and transformative: inner child work.
Why the Inner Child Matters on a Spiritual Path
As we call in more light during this collective ascension, we also stir up our shadows—those unconscious parts we’ve suppressed or denied over the years. Often, these shadows are rooted in unmet childhood needs. Healing the inner child allows us to bring compassion to those parts of ourselves that were once silenced or neglected, helping us fully integrate who we are.
Understanding Your Inner Parts with IFS
One powerful framework for this healing is Internal Family Systems (IFS), created by Richard Schwartz. IFS teaches that we are made up of many internal parts—some of which are wounded inner children and others that protect or manage those wounds. I first discovered this through Gabby Bernstein’s book Self-Help, which breaks the concepts down in such an accessible and heartfelt way. Highly recommended if you want to dive deeper.
Simple Ways to Connect with Your Inner Child
You don’t need to be a therapist to begin this work. Here are a few practices that have helped me personally:
Talk to yourself like a child. Use your childhood nickname and speak the words you needed to hear: “You are safe. You are loved. You are enough.”
Visualize and meditate with the intention of meeting your younger self.
Write a letter to your inner child—or write as your younger self and let all the feelings come up.
Call on your spirit team, including Archangel Michael, to help you cut cords with old trauma and guide you back to wholeness.
This Work is Sacred (and Sometimes Messy)
Inner child healing isn't always easy. It takes grace, courage, and compassion. But when we lovingly reparent ourselves, we invite more light and joy into the present moment. We align more fully with our soul’s path—and that’s how we step into our highest 5D timeline.
