Recognizing Guidance from Spirit
One of the most common questions I receive is: How do I get better at understanding messages from Spirit?
My answer is actually quite simple—practice.
Just like any skill, becoming more aware of spiritual messages is something that develops over time. For me, it begins with a daily intention. I often suggest starting your day by inviting your team in Spirit to communicate with you and expressing gratitude in advance for the signs, miracles, and synchronicities that may appear.
From there, the key is presence.
Many messages from Spirit show up through everyday moments. You might be thinking about a loved one who has passed, and suddenly their favorite song comes on the radio. You might notice the same numbers appearing repeatedly throughout the day. Sometimes the signs are subtle, and other times they’re very clear.
Over time, you begin to recognize patterns. You start to understand the ways your team in Spirit tends to communicate with you.
Another thing people often worry about is whether they’re asking for signs correctly. I always remind people that there is no right or wrong way to ask. The exact words matter much less than the intention behind them.
What matters most is authenticity.
If you’re asking for guidance, I encourage you to move out of your head and into your heart. Take a few moments to breathe and allow yourself to open emotionally. From that space, you can invite Spirit to be present with you and guide you through the day.
Sometimes it can be as simple as saying:
“Thank you, team Spirit, for being with me today. Thank you for showing me the way, guiding my next steps, and revealing the signs and synchronicities meant for me.”
In the end, this process isn’t about forcing answers. It’s about creating space to notice what may already be there.
That’s why I often say: think less and be more.
Ask. Let go. Stay present. And allow the messages to unfold.
